Chupis works alongside local organisations, volunteers and communities across Tanzania, Zambia and Kenya to support women and girls through menstrual health education and access to reusable period products. Together, we deliver culturally safe sessions that build understanding of puberty, periods and menstrual care, creating space for open conversations that challenge stigma and break down taboos.
In Kenya, our washable pads are made by the women of Imarisha Women with Disabilities, supporting local livelihoods while providing women and girls with practical, reusable menstrual products. Our partner, Reasons to Smile, provides students with education and training to help them manage their menstrual health with confidence and dignity. These collaborations bring together local knowledge, skills and care to create lasting change.
Packaged with purpose - a reason to smile.
Our care packs are thoughtfully assembled by our dedicated partners and volunteer groups, whose time, care and commitment make this support possible. Each pack contains washable, reusable menstrual products that complement the education participants receive, helping them put their learning into practice and manage their periods with confidence and dignity. By providing reusable products, we also help reduce ongoing costs and waste, offering a practical, sustainable approach to menstrual care.
Since its inception in 2023, Chupis, together with our partners, has distributed over 8,000 menstrual care packs to women and girls in need. This milestone has been made possible through the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers and the strength of our partnerships. Every pack helps improve access to essential menstrual products, supporting women and girls to manage their periods with greater comfort, confidence and dignity. Together, we’re helping ease the financial burden of menstrual care and working towards a future where no one has to go without the products they need.
