women empowerment

From Concept to Classroom
The Inner Workings of Chupis Period Education Initiative

Chupis adopts a grassroots strategy by forming strategic partnerships with community-based organisations across Eastern and Southern Africa. Through these collaborations, we deliver comprehensive menstrual health education and facilitate the promotion and distribution of sustainable menstrual solutions.

In Kenya, we work with Reasons to Smile to support menstrual health, reproductive rights, and teenage pregnancy prevention, providing washable pads and resources to expand their reach.

In Tanzania, our partnership with Naserian trains international students, teachers, and adults to deliver grassroots menstrual health education in their communities.

In Zambia, we collaborate with Twende Education for All, integrating our training into their women’s empowerment programmes in both urban and rural areas.

By collaborating with local & grassroot organisations, we’re building a network of informed, confident changemakers and creating lasting impact for women and girls—one community at a time.

What do our programs cover?

  • Basic Education on the female reproductive system, and Menstrual Health.
  • In depth subjects such as puberty, hygiene, sexual Health & Education.
  • What Menstrual Products are available, and how to use them.
  • Eliminating negative stigma, and myths associated with the Menstrual Cycle, and female reproductive system.
