These reusable pads offer sustainable menstrual solutions, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring these girls have access to a reliable and hygienic alternative. By providing them with washable period pads, we aim to replace makeshift materials, offering a dignified solution that promotes their well-being and enables discreet menstruation management. Distributing washable period pads to these teenage girls promotes empowerment, dignity, and discreet menstruation management. This initiative not only contributes to better health and hygiene standards, reducing the risk of infections, but also supports educational continuity, encouraging consistent school attendance among teenage girls. We believe in driving change through innovative projects that focus on sustainable solutions and education, particularly in the realm of menstrual health. The pivotal role of a Director of our East African Programs is paramount. She will be required to hold a Bachelor’s degree. The dynamic position of a director involves overseeing and leading our initiatives in East Africa, including coordinating sewing cooperatives, distributing period pads, and implementing and evaluating our comprehensive training programs. The Director will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration with various stakeholders to promote the health and well-being of teenage girls in the region.
