The beneficiaries of our washable period underwear and pads are Aboriginal teenage girls in remote areas of Australia and vulnerable teenage girls in East Africa because these groups face unique challenges in accessing reliable menstrual hygiene products. In remote Aboriginal communities, access to stores or services is limited, making it difficult for girls to obtain proper period products. Similarly, in East Africa, many vulnerable girls face financial constraints that prevent them from affording disposable menstrual products. By providing washable, reusable options, we aim to ensure that these girls have access to hygienic and reliable period protection, enabling them to attend school with dignity and confidence. Additionally, we recognise the importance of tailoring our support to address the specific needs and circumstances of these communities, and our initiative is designed to make a meaningful impact on the lives of girls in both regions
